Delight.
US versus Turkey at 2:00 PM EST.
I'm indisposed, but feel free to use this space to comment on the game as it happens. I'll be watching later tonight, and will post my thoughts in the comments section.
Thinking about this game makes me want Turkish Pizza. There are a couple of other International Friendlies going on today that you also might want to keep track of: Nude Zealand vs Serbia and Spain vs Saudi Arabia immediately come to mind.

Ok, so I still haven't managed to watch the full highlights of the game. I "accidentally" saw some highlights on Sports Center last night, after I realized I wasn't going to have the time to sit down and watch the whole thing AND hang out with my parents.
ReplyDeleteThe things we do for love.
By all accounts, it was a tale of two halves. Half One, we sucked hard. Like, mad hard. Half Two, we played like grown ass men. All in all, I feel pretty good about the whole thing. A win is a win, and Turkey are definitely not pushovers. We'll have a little bit of confidence going into our final warm-up against Australia, and I think that, in playing all seven of our defensive options, Bradley now has a good idea of who he's going to start in the back (NOT BORNSTEIN).
PS: Am I a stupid person, or did Robbie Findley actually play kind of OK? Weird.
Findley played well and I was SHOCKED!!!
