As you may have noticed, at Two Worlds One Cup, we (read: I) really like Diego Forlan. You also may be aware that we (read: I) also have a deep and abiding love for the sport of ping pong. So, imagine our (my) surprise when we (I) stumbled across Forlan's YouTube account and found this video.
I know that the man himself isn't playing, but I love it when I get a glimpse of the more human side of athletes/public figures. And, if seeing members of Uruguay's national team play ping pong doubles (surprisingly well, too!) isn't enough, here's another gem from Forlan's account: Uruguay and a huge pile of meat.
God bless the internet. I'm SO rooting for the Ping-Pong-Meat-Eaters on Saturday.
